We're back with more delicious DarkHunters!
Today we've got Sunshine and Talon giving us a lot of steam and some soul rebirth!
We learned more about Acheron's past, met his long "dead" twin, and got more representation of different cultures including Native people with Sunshine and her ancestors. Sunshine was a grown woman, with goals, happy to get her rocks off with Talon is a full marathon of sex and then say thank you and have a great life. Talon got a taste and just couldn't stay away!
We couldn't be happier that these books stand up against the test of time! And as always, love that the couple is on the same team against external forces, no miscommunication 3rd act break-ups here folks!

Some Bridget thoughts:
I love that these books have the MCs on the same side vs external forces.
I love that it is based in New Orleans so the humans are all connected in some way to the supernatural so it’s not a stretch for Sunshine to understand that Talon is ‘other’ and eventually what a dark hunter is.
I love that there is some native goddess’ energy and protection in this book.
Plus we get introduced to the Arcadians and were hunters and the wolf and bear clans, which I love throughout the books.
Also, I love that this is really a big glimpse into Acheron’s character. Sacrificing himself for his Dark Hunter’s freedom. How no one really knows what he is, or why he’s like that.
Hated how bitchy and controlling Artemis is. How she feeds off of Ash (THIS BIATCH!).
Plus when Nick is being sassy I love it.
Nynia’s past life. I like that Sunshine calls her a ninny for never disagreeing with Talon.
Find out Ash has a twin - twin’s consequence is to live Acheron’s memories
Zarek - Sunshine showed him kindness for no reason, making him rethink his jaded world view.
